Mesh filter mould designed and manufactured to inject mesh filter. This product process is over moulding, need to put mesh on the mould, and then close mould & injection moulding. So the keep point is how to fix the mesh on the mould. We designed pins and fixed lines on the mould to make the mesh fix on the mould firmly.
❤ Mesh filter design
3D part design without mesh, the part have made some changes from client’s sample. Taizhou Xiongshi Mould Co., Ltd can make the part design same as the sample or make some changes from client’s sample.
💚Mesh filter frame plastic material
This is another key point for the mesh filter over moulding. The frame must be moulded with small shrinkage rate plastic raw material. Otherwise the mesh will get wrinkle due to the frame shrinked after part got cool after injection moulding.
🧡 Mesh filter mould design
This mould designed with cold runner, 3 plates mould structure. But if made with hot runner system is better, easier for injection moulding. According client, this mesh filter mould made with one cavity. We also suggest to make with 1 cavity, because more than 1 cavity, difficult to put the mesh.
💛 Mesh filter mould steel
P20H steel applied for this mould core and cavity plates. When client want longer mould life, can use better quality steel 718H, 1.2738, H13, etc. instead. Mould base is 45# steel.

Mesh filter need high effective cooling lines to make the shrink less. Another point, when design this mould, we need to make clear about the mesh wall thickness. As mesh will be over moulding inside the filter frame, so mould need to be left some gap to avoild the mesh got broken when mould close and hold the mesh.

This is last step for one mould project. During covild-19 issue, many country not allowed free traveling. This is same policy in China. In this way, clients can not entre into China to see the mould trail. We take mould test video and send mould trail samples to client to inspect the sample sizes and quality.
