Heparin tube mould core and cavity are inserts design. Mould structure with self-lock on core and cavity inserts. The advantage for this design is that mould no any jump during injection moulding.
🔴 Heparin tube design
The heparin tube new design made according client’s sample. Just follow client’s request to do little changes on the design.
New design removed the letters, so new mould sliders can be just made on the tube neck.
🟠 Heparin tube mould steel
Core and cavity inserts made with S136 steel. This is a stainless steel, can be made vacuum quenching hardening treatment. With hardened steel, heparin tube mould life can be up to 3 million shots.
The sliders also made with S136 steel. Mould strip plate made with P20H steel, mould base made with 45# steel. Mould designed with cold runner system. As mould with 8 cavity, and gate position on the tube top, so mould made with 3 plates structure.
Most of medical mould made with high quality steel, so heparin tube mould made with S136 steel is very normal.
🟡 Heparin tube mould runner system
If mould with high cavity no., such as 16 cavity, 32 cavity, or even more, have to use hot runner system to insure all the cavity running with good injection balance and stably. But this mould cavity no. is 8, so cold runner system is also a good choice.
In the beginning, heparin tube mould gate position and design same with original sample. Therefor gate mark is out off the tube, finger can touch the gate mark. We found this problem from the first time mould trail samples.
By then, we suggested to change the gate position and design to hide the gate mark inside the tube.
After change the gate design, the gate mark hide inside the tube, this make the tube much better.

The runner material sometime not drop from mould, due to the head diameter a little bigger. We made the improvement and runner material can be automatically drop from the second time mould test.
